One of our "local" zoos held a winter day over the weekend, and the weather was perfect for it (at least for January here in the midwest)! I heard the temperature reached almost 60 degrees - wow! And we took full advantage of having a new place to explore, outside in the fresh air, in the middle of winter!
exploring!
What's she thinking...
There she goes!
cuddling with daddy...
and mommy... ;)
She told us she didn't have any fun. I don't know. What do you think?
And Olivia's favorite part of the day... snacking on Cracker Jacks. Seriously.
doesn't get much cuter than this!

christmas 2012
Wow! Christmas seems like such a long time ago, so I guess it's about time for an update! Our holidays were jam-packed with family time and the flu, or something like it, maybe? And I didn't get many photos, either, but here is what we have:
Family time: the girls met their new baby cousin for the first time and absolutely adored her. (They're the cutest, little mommies, I think!)
Spoiled: Yeah, they certainly got loved on this year! We even had packages coming in the mail... Such divas - these "blingy" (Is that a word?) headbands were right up their alley!
Christmas morning: We had no Christmas tree this year. There simply was NO room for one in our little cottage. So we piled the girls and their packages on the couch, where they opened their gifts, and then we had a "special" Christmas breakfast: Paula Dean coffee cake and fresh cut fruit. Thank you, Wal-Mart. It was all this sick momma could come up with. Fortunately, they had plenty to entertain them as I spent most of rest of the day on the couch. Ugh.
Lipstick: This little girl is obsessed with it. (It's actually make-your-own-glitter-lip-gloss. Crafting, glitter and gloss - does life get any better than this?)
Best Christmas Ever! Princess shoes. I don't know why we even bothered buying anything else. It's all about the shoes for this 3-year-old.
And the girls in their Christmas dresses: I thought it would be a great idea to get a special picture of them dressed up out in the snow. Two little someones did not agree.
Oh well, we tried.
